“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” Mother Teresa

Her Mission

Although she was never in an office, she still showed business leadership by creating her own missions. Her vocation was to be a missionary, and she knew this was what she had to do because she had to spread the love of Christ. "I was to leave the convent and work with the poor, living among them to be God's Love in action to the poorest of the poor. That was the beginning of the Missionaries of Charity." This was stated by Mother Teresa about her new mission. After taking her vows into sister hood she opened The Missionaries of Charity on October 7th 1950. Her order eventually grew and she had 5000 sisters, brothers, and volunteers running over 500 centers all over the world. These missions feed over 500 000 families, and helps 90 000 lepers every year. She would take and care for the sick and dying off the street and care for them and give them a peaceful place to die. She was a servant leader in the business sense because she created so many homes for the homeless and gave hope to those who needed it. She cared for the people that no one wanted to care for.
